"YOUNG ADULT" (2011) - Two favourite clips

There are many clips from upcoming drama "Young Adult" and if you want to watch all of them, you can find these videos on its official Youtube channel. I chose just two of them, which I like the most and which show us that there will be lots of drama, a bit of sarcasm and desperation.

When I saw "Young Adult" poster, I thought it's going to be a comedy about a woman who doesn't want to grow up. But Jason Reitman, the director, and Diablo Cody, the writer, who worked together on "Juno", tell us a more complicated story of an ordinary young woman, whose heart needs healing. Her name is Mavis Gary; she is a novelist, recently-divorced and decides to come to her home town. There she meets her school boyfriend and tries to reconnect with him, though he is married and has a baby. Charlize Theron looks very depressed, but still pretty and there are some rumours that she has a good chance to get an Oscar nomination for this appearance. We'll see about this. Also the film stars Patton Oswalt, Elizabeth Reaser, Patrick Wilson.

Release date - December 9, 2011.

Jason Isaacs and his wigs

I was watching a melodramatic movie called "Sweet November" by Pat O'Connor, starring a beautiful screen couple Keanu Reeves and Charlize Theron, when I realized that a talented Jason Isaacs also had an interesting part there. He plays a transvestite Cherry, who is successful in the advertising industry as Chase. His girlish appearance was witty and not vulgar at all. The previous month he confessed at the press conference of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 2" that his favorite thing from filming that movie series was Lucius Malfoy's wig. It looks like he really is a professional, who doesn't afraid of playing such unusual characters, but Jason looks great in both costumes. By the way, he did a good job portraying so different people as Chase/Cherry and Lucius. I hope soon he will surprise us with another interesting role.

"Snow White and the Huntsman" (2012) - Character banners

Universal Pictures presented the new banners of its upcoming movie called "Snow White and the Huntsman", showing us how the main characters will look like. What we should wait from this newly adaptations of the good old fairy-tale I have no idea, because Universal Pictures studio wants to surprise the audience. Kristen Stewart looks a bit odd in this armor and her shield is very similar to the one from "The Lord of the Rings" (white tree is a symbol of Minas Tirith). And she looks nothing like a fairy-tale Snow White, but reminds me Alice played by Mia Wasikowska from Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland". I really like the appearance of Charlize Theron, who is great as the Queen. Chris Hemsworth and Sam Claflin look okay, and again one of them reminds me a character from another movie - the Prince is like the younger son of Hessian Horseman from Tim Burton's "Sleepy Hollow". Very original, don’t you think?

"Sweet November" (2001) - Soundtrack

"Sweet November" by director Pat O'Connor is a very inspirational movie for me. Every time I watch it, it makes me laugh and cry. It is one of the first movies, which helped me understand what for we need cinema. Keanu Reeves and Charlize Theron showed me a magical love story, the dramatic one, the truthful one. I know fast every quote from it, but it can't get me bored. I love it and I love its atmosphere, which was created by beautiful views of San Francisco and wonderful music. "Only Time" by Enya, "Wherever You Are" by Celeste Prince and others are always associated by me with powerful moments from "Sweet November".
